A message from Dominic
Dear CAFOD Supporters/CAT Members
Just a short note to remind everybody that there is a NE Area CAT Meeting on Wednesday 27th April at 7pm. The meeting is being held in St Mary’s Parish Hall behind St Mary’s RC Church, Yorkshire St, Burnley, BB10 4AU, as this venue is pretty central for the CAT Area. You may have already received an e-mail from Jackie Hindle-South about the meeting. Jackie is helping me in my communicator role, apologies to anybody who may have received the earlier e-mail and wondered who it was from.
To access parking and find the parish hall, if travelling by car, please use the Todmorden Road entrance at St Mary’s Gate by the traffic lights near Turf Moor. At the meeting there will be an opportunity to share your parish experiences of CAFOD’s Lenten campaign and Anne Marie Coppock, Diocesan Manager, will be giving us an update on Haiti by showing a DVD.
Please could you advertise this meeting in your parish newsletters and forward the e-mail to anybody interested in joining the CAT for the NE Area of the Diocese. The CAT only meets 2-3 times a year and aims to hold one CAFOD fundraising event a year. The CAT aims to support existing CAFOD parish groups and help the CAFOD Diocesan Office in delivering the CAFOD message.
Could you please let me know if you are able or unable to attend. Thanks again for your support of CAFOD.
Kind Regards and all the blessings of the season
